Dates and tickets

Three days of music are confirmed at Wisdom Valley, in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. Tomorrowland announces six stages, including MainStage, CORE, and Freedom. For travelers arriving from France, the location means distinguishing three places: the arrival airport, your accommodation, and the festival entrance. A booking that connects only the first two still leaves the daily journey to be worked out.

The official site now shows “sold out,” including across pass categories. The sales announced for February and March are now in the past. If you don’t already have a ticket confirmed in your name, we advise against committing to a nonrefundable flight or hotel solely for this event. Follow official announcements for any possible additional availability, without assuming tickets will go back on sale.

The Full Madness Pass covers all three days; the Day Pass is for one day. Comfort options provide access to the corresponding areas. Check the exact type shown in your confirmation, especially if several people are traveling together. Someone attending only on Saturday may not have the same shuttle schedule or overnight needs as friends holding a full pass.

Entry requires a personalized ticket and a Tomorrowland wristband. Before departure, check your purchase confirmation, account information, and arrangements for receiving or collecting the wristband. A screenshot sent by a stranger does not establish that entry will be allowed. Don’t buy access presented as transferable unless an official rule applies to that order.

The wristband and confirmations

Check the booking details person by person. The name on the ticket must match the attendee; the person who paid for the order may need to manage several travelers. Before flying, ask everyone to check their personalization details and access to important messages. One group member who may be unavailable shouldn’t hold the only copy of everyone else’s confirmations.

How the wristband is delivered depends on the option selected at purchase. The organizer distinguishes home delivery, with a Treasure Case and associated fees, from festival pickup using e-tickets, without a case. If your order specifies pickup, include this step in your first arrival on site. Keep the official instructions provided for your order rather than relying on the process followed by a friend who chose delivery.

Keep your flight, hotel, pass, and transfer confirmations together in one offline folder. A separate copy of important documents can also be made available to someone you trust. For last-minute changes, keep each provider’s contact details and your booking reference. This makes it easier to make a specific request: change a pickup point, report a delayed flight, or find the pickup instructions.

The flight to Thailand

To plan your stay, start by comparing arrivals in Bangkok with your onward transfer to Pattaya. Check the airport code on each option, baggage, local landing time, and connection conditions. Two tickets showing the same city name may lead to different ground-transport arrangements. Comparing only the flight price gives an incomplete picture.

If you’re flying from somewhere in France other than Paris, compare an air connection on a single ticket with a separate journey to the international departure airport. With two independent bookings, a delay on the first leg could jeopardize the second. Also include the cost of an overnight stay before your flight if needed, transportation to the terminal, and any repeat baggage fees.

We recommend arriving in Thailand before the opening day, with at least one proper night’s rest there. If you also want to enjoy Bangkok, arriving several days before December 11 makes for a more relaxed schedule. This timing gives you a chance to collect your bags, clear immigration, reach your hotel, and absorb a delay without immediately watching the clock for the first concert.

For your return, avoid an early-morning international departure after the final night. Sunday ends at midnight according to the official schedule, followed by leaving the site, traveling onward, and completing airport formalities. An extra night, or even a day to rest in Bangkok, protects your trip better than a tight connection planned around the festival’s stated end time alone.

The hotel and shuttles

Official hotel packages combine accommodation, breakfast, a Full Madness Pass, and daily shuttles to the festival. They cover hotels in the areas of Pattaya, Chonburi, and Rayong. If you’ve booked this package, reread your travel voucher before adding transportation: the departure point, covered days, and package instructions determine what’s already included.

A room booked directly with a hotel works differently. It may suit your budget or let you extend your stay, but its address alone doesn’t confirm that a shuttle is available. Ask in writing whether festival transportation is actually offered, for which dates, from which meeting point, and with what return service. Keep the response with your booking.

The best location therefore depends on your daily route. For three festival days, we favor accommodation paired with a clear transportation plan. A pleasant hotel on the seafront may still be a good choice for mornings and rest; however, check that it’s actually accessible from the departure points you’ll use. “Pattaya” covers a wider area than the walking distance around any one hotel.

Also check your arrival and departure times. After an early-morning flight, your room may not be available until later; after the final night, you’ll need to get back there without difficulty. A reception desk you can reach at night, confirmed luggage storage, and a clear cancellation policy are practical considerations. Compare the total price for all nights, including stated taxes and service charges.

Getting to Wisdom Valley

Arrival from the airport and transportation to the festival are two separate bookings when they are not included in your package. For the first journey, give the transport provider your terminal, flight number, hotel’s full address and luggage volume. Written confirmation of the meeting point will save you from searching for a driver in one hall while they wait for you at another exit.

For the evenings, make sure to book a return option you can verify. Concerts end late, and spectators leave the same site within a narrow window of time. A quote should specify the authorized pickup point, how to contact the driver and what to do if your departure is delayed. Don’t confuse the usual duration of a journey with a guaranteed travel time after a festival.

A group sharing a vehicle will benefit from designating one person to communicate with the transport provider. Send the others the hotel address and confirmation, then agree on a meeting point. If some people want to return earlier, arrange another option before the evening. A shared car becomes restrictive when everyone assumes their own schedule will be the group’s schedule.

Staying in Bangkok during all three days adds travel time to the time spent at the venue. We would reserve this city for the beginning or end of the trip instead. For a single festival day, a day trip from Bangkok still requires a precisely arranged return; it is not like a simple city outing with transport available at any time.

For a solo trip, give the final journey as much attention as the first. Booking transport before the festival means you’ll know where to meet without having to negotiate a destination after the evening. Share your itinerary with someone close to you and keep the hotel address in a format you can show the driver, even without an internet connection or with a nearly drained phone.

French and Thai formalities

Check entry requirements based on your nationality, the passport you will use and the full length of your stay. In its latest guidance consulted, France Diplomatie states that the tourist visa exemption for French citizens holding an ordinary passport was reduced to thirty days as of September 15, 2026. Older information sheets that mention sixty days should therefore not be the sole basis for your booking.

The same notice reminds travelers of a limit of two visa-free entries per calendar year. If you have already traveled to Thailand or plan to leave and return during this trip, check your situation before buying transport. An itinerary with a side trip to a neighboring country can affect the formalities, even when the total number of nights seems short.

The Thailand Digital Arrival Card, or TDAC, must be completed free of charge on the Thai immigration website within the three days before arrival. Prepare your passport, flight information, contact details and accommodation address. The form must be completed in English. Download the confirmation and keep a copy accessible offline. The TDAC is part of the arrival formalities; it does not replace a visa when one is required.

Before departure, also check the passport validity required for your situation with the relevant authorities, as well as your carrier’s conditions. Take out insurance suited to medical expenses, assistance and repatriation, and read its exclusions. Trip cancellation and interruption are separate types of coverage to review: having a bank card does not mean you can assume what they cover.

A week around the festival

For a first trip focused on Tomorrowland, spending about a week there lets you pace yourself without visiting too many regions. Our proposed itinerary uses two bases: Bangkok for a short visit, then the Pattaya area for the three festival days. Adjust the exact flight dates to match your pass and actual availability.

On arrival, plan a light schedule: check in, eat and take a walk near the hotel depending on your energy. The next day can include one structured activity, followed by free time. This leaves room for getting around the city and resting. It avoids scheduling a non-refundable appointment just a few hours after a long-haul flight lands.

The day before the festival opens, travel to your festival base. Use the day to settle in, check the shuttle departure or driver meeting point, and prepare your things. On Friday, you can leave the hotel with all the information you need already gathered. During the weekend, mornings are for breakfast, rest and a few nearby outings if you feel like it.

The following Monday works well for the return transfer or an extra, relaxed day. To extend your trip in Thailand, add a stop chosen for its own sake, with its own journey and overnight stays. Trying to fit an island, the north of the country and Bangkok around three evenings quickly reduces the time available. A simple extension, booked after you have fixed your transport, will be easier to manage.

The full cost of the trip

Start your expense spreadsheet with the items already committed to: pass, any delivery fee, flight, accommodation and insurance. Add airport transfers, round trips to the festival, meals and on-site spending. For a hotel package, identify exactly what is included so you don’t count the pass or shuttle twice.

Compare independent accommodation with a package for the same number of travelers and nights. A room advertised for two people and a package priced per participant are not directly comparable. Check the pass category, breakfasts and the final night after Sunday. Night transport can affect whether a cheaper hotel that is harder to reach is worthwhile.

Keep quotes in their original currency and check the fees charged by your payment method. The conversion shown at checkout may differ from the rate applied by your bank; the right choice depends on your account terms. We don’t provide flight prices or a universal budget here because they vary with your departure city, baggage, bookings already made and preferred level of comfort.

Keep a travel contingency fund available for an extra night, a changed transfer or a medical expense before reimbursement. Keep this amount separate from your planned budget for meals and purchases. The festival uses a cashless system with Pearls on the wristband: check the official instructions for the applicable top-up and refund rules before deciding how much to load.

A free day in Bangkok

Bangkok offers an interesting transition before the evenings at Wisdom Valley. The Chao Phraya provides a geographical landmark for a walk and for choosing an area to visit. Still, avoid stringing together far-flung locations without checking the connections: a free day also includes getting back to the hotel and preparing for the next transfer.

For a booked activity, we recommend the cooking class at Tingly Cooking School in the Bang Rak area. The program offered on Viator includes preparing four dishes and tasting them. It gives the morning a clear purpose, with a meal on site and an introduction to the ingredients, rather than a long succession of stops before heading back to Pattaya.

The market visit is included in the morning option. Afternoon and evening sessions do not include this visit, so choose your time based on what you want to learn and how much time you have. The class is advertised as being led in English, the meeting point is at the school, and transportation is not included. Plan your own way there from the hotel.

The listing mentions tom yum soup, pad thai, curry depending on the day, and mango sticky rice. Report any allergies or dietary restrictions before booking and wait for a response that addresses your needs. Schedule this workshop on a day you will actually be in Bangkok, preferably before transferring to the festival. The booking covers the cooking class only; your Tomorrowland ticket and transportation are arranged separately.

The group and meeting arrangements

The six announced scenes allow for different plans within the same group. Once the final information is available, choose your priorities without requiring everyone to follow every transfer. Agree on a meeting point for the return journey and a simple procedure in case someone stops receiving messages. Everyone should know the public transport schedules, even when you split up around the site.

Before entering, also settle the shared expenses. A shared vehicle, a room and an activity booked for several people may have different cancellation rules. Note who paid and what remains owed, without confusing this shared budget with the personal top-up on the wristband. This small bit of planning avoids having to settle accounts when leaving the hotel or meeting the driver.

Schedules and what to bring

The official hours are 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, then 1 p.m. to midnight on Sunday, local time. Check-in closes at 10 p.m. on the first two days and at 9 p.m. on Sunday. Arriving after check-in closes means being refused entry, even with a valid ticket. Check the final information before leaving your hotel.

Re-entry is not allowed once you leave for the day. So bring everything you will need until you return, in accordance with the admission rules, and sort out any questions about medication, appointments and transport before entering. A Full Madness Pass lets you return the next day; it does not let you leave the site to have dinner elsewhere and come back that same evening.

The official list prohibits, among other things, personal food and drinks, bottles, liquids, aerosols, e-cigarettes and drones. Check your usual festival habits: a water bottle or spray you use elsewhere is not automatically permitted here. For necessary medication, the organizer requires a medical certificate. Prepare this document before departure and confirm the conditions that apply to your treatment.

First aid is available on site, as well as lockers and paid phone-charging options. Check the locker details when they become available. Keep essential confirmations accessible offline and have a way to contact your group.
