World of Frozen brings together a musical cruise, a meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa, and a village to explore in Disney Adventure World, the second Disneyland Paris park. The ticket choice, virtual queue and journey from Paris shape the day. Here’s how to plan them together, including the confirmed dates for the first Christmas season, from November 7, 2026 to January 6, 2027.

The park and access to Arendelle

To find the kingdom of Arendelle, enter Disney Adventure World, the name adopted by the former Walt Disney Studios park on March 29, 2026. World of Frozen opened on the same day. Disneyland Park, with Sleeping Beauty Castle, has its own entrance and themed areas. This distinction determines which ticket to buy: a reservation for Disneyland Park alone does not include access to the Frozen village.

Inside the second park, you arrive via World Premiere, then World Premiere Plaza and Adventure Way. This promenade leads to Adventure Bay lake, around which the expansion unfolds. The 36-meter-tall North Mountain serves as a landmark above Arendelle. The approach is part of the discovery: you move from the cinema-themed entrance into a landscape of gardens, water and Nordic-style façades.

Disney does not require a separate reservation for the land. You need a ticket valid for Disney Adventure World and must follow the reservation requirements for your visit. During periods of high demand, entry to World of Frozen may be managed with a queue. Factor this in before a character meet-and-greet: you may need extra time to reach the castle in addition to getting around the park.

Tickets for your day

For a visit focused on Anna, Elsa and the other themed areas of the second park, the one-day/one-park option is the logical starting point. The ticket product shown here lets you choose between Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. So check the park covered by your selection, the date and the order summary before paying. The term “Disneyland Paris” refers to the entire destination and appears in offers with different scopes.

A one-day/two-park ticket works if you also want to see the castle, a parade or attractions at Disneyland Park. You’ll need to allow time for exits, entrance checks and travel between the two parks. With young children and a strong focus on Frozen, spending the day at Disney Adventure World gives you more flexibility for a meal, a meet-and-greet and the shows.

Two- to four-day options include access to both parks on consecutive days. They make sense for spreading out the themed areas and evenings, rather than making multiple trips back and forth. The right pace depends on your group: a first family visit with long breaks is not planned like a day out with adults who already know the parks.

The tickets below include admission according to the option selected. Transport, meals, parking and attraction fast passes are arranged separately. The price shown on the card depends on the ticket type; check the final amount for your date, visitors and exact option. Tickets are personal, and it’s worth reviewing the change conditions before confirming the names.

Frozen Ever After with the family

The main attraction is beneath the Clock Tower. Frozen Ever After takes visitors on a musical boat ride through scenes featuring Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven. The journey includes the forest, the Valley of the Trolls and the Ice Palace. Animated characters, projections and lighting bring the sets to life; the songs connect the different scenes.

There’s no minimum height requirement, making the ride easier to enjoy with children of different ages. However, there are specific rules: children under seven must be accompanied by an adult, and expectant mothers should not ride. Disney also notes very dark areas, flashing lights and a risk of getting splashed. If a child is sensitive to darkness or changes in atmosphere, explain before joining the queue that it’s a boat ride through scenes with sound effects.

Visitors using wheelchairs must transfer to board; a transfer board can be requested. The official page also mentions audio description. Plan transfers and other specific needs with the staff and the accessibility guide, taking the person concerned into account. Check general park accessibility and the boarding conditions for each attraction separately.

Wait times are available in the app. Disney Premier Access offers a faster queue, subject to availability and an additional cost; it does not provide immediate access. A SINGLE RIDER queue is also available. It’s mainly for people who are willing to ride separately, with no guaranteed choice of seat. If you want to share the experience with a young child, the queue that lets you stay together is better suited to your family’s needs.

Meet Anna and Elsa

Royal Encounter takes place in Arendelle Castle. The visit passes through a portrait gallery before the moment with the two sisters and the photographs. The setting extends their story: several paintings reproduce images seen in the films, including a nod to Fragonard’s The Swing. It offers a different setting from the boat, with an opportunity to interact with the characters.

Access to the encounter uses a virtual queue in the Disneyland Paris app, subject to available time slots. The park admission ticket and joining this queue are two separate steps. Before setting off, install the app, have your tickets ready, and check the encounter section. On the day, follow the conditions shown for your group; time slots and their availability cannot be inferred from an old schedule.

Once you have a time slot, plan nearby attractions around the appointment. Disney advises allowing at least twenty minutes to reach the land, while noting that crowd management may require more time. A dedicated entrance queue is available for visitors who have booked the encounter. Check the specific arrangements for access and priority cards: a reservation is still required for Royal Encounter.

Talk with your child beforehand about what they would like to say or show, then have your camera ready without spending the whole interaction looking at a screen. If no time slot is available, the cruise and the village celebrations offer other opportunities to see the characters in their world, in a different format.

The village and its details

Arendelle can also be explored on foot, among the colorful façades, the square, and the bay. To take in the landscape, first notice the relationship between the castle by the water, the village, and the palace perched on the mountain. These three areas establish the kingdom’s scale and offer different viewpoints. The North Mountain is part of the scenery: the Ice Palace’s interior scenes can be experienced in Frozen Ever After.

The architecture draws on Norwegian influences. The castle, in particular, references stavkirker, traditional wooden churches with tiered silhouettes. Floral rosemaling-style paintings appear on façades and in decorative details. Looking at these motifs with children can connect an object seen in a shop to the village’s ornaments, rather than directing all attention to queues.

The Clock Tower offers another landmark. According to Disneyland Paris, its carillon plays the melody of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” when it strikes the hours. The lighthouse and the harbor boats add references to scenes from the films. The pleasure of the walk lies in details visible at different distances, from the panorama to a small object.

Set aside time to explore outside the attractions, even if your schedule is busy. Allow around twenty to thirty minutes for a walk, and longer depending on photos and crowds. Keep busy passageways clear: for a group photo, find a spot where children can wait without blocking foot traffic.

Shows on the two bays

The general World of Frozen schedule includes A Celebration in Arendelle, a roughly fifteen-minute celebration around the Snowflake Festival. Anna, Elsa, and their companions take part in a show performed aboard three boats in Arendelle Bay. The water opens up the stage toward the village and offers a different way to see the characters than in a photo encounter.

Check the day’s schedule before deciding when to eat: times and entertainment can change, especially with the seasons. For younger children, choose a viewing spot where they can actually see the boats. A place chosen at adult eye level may leave a child looking at the audience’s shoulders. How early to arrive depends on the crowd; no universal setup time guarantees a good view.

Disney Cascade of Lights is part of the park-wide entertainment and takes place after dark on Adventure Bay. The show includes projections, fountains, pyrotechnic effects, and drones. Plan for it as the final appointment of the day, with a break beforehand and a return that fits the announced schedule.

Arendelle Bay and Adventure Bay are different spaces with different uses as performance venues. Check the location of each show on the map so you do not wait in the wrong place. Weather or a technical issue may affect a performance. The schedule in the app and on-site information remain the references for your visit.

Dining and souvenirs

Nordic Crowns Tavern offers quick-service lunch and dinner in World of Frozen. Its décor tells the story of the kingdom and royal family through paintings and objects. The cuisine takes inspiration from the Nordic region: official descriptions include dishes pairing purée or quinoa with salmon or meatballs, vegetables, and dill or lingonberry sauces. Plant-based options are also available.

The menu available during your visit determines the choices and prices. For allergies, ask for official information about ingredients and preparation conditions; the availability of a plant-based alternative or a gluten-free item does not, by itself, address every situation. If you have a selective eater, checking the menu before joining the queue makes it easier to plan another restaurant if needed.

Shopping is split between Arendelle Boutique and Fjord View Shop. The first combines Frozen souvenirs with Scandinavian-inspired items. The second features Rúna, an interactive baby troll available to purchase. Its reactions to touch and interactions are part of the shop’s commercial experience. Setting a souvenir budget before going in makes it easier to choose between a small item and a more elaborate toy.

For a table-service meal elsewhere in the park, options include Bistrot Chez Rémy and The Regal View Restaurant. Their locations affect how the break fits into your day, and reservations are handled separately. A meal with Princesses at The Regal View is not a Royal Encounter booking with Anna and Elsa: choose according to the experience you actually want.

A day centered on Frozen

For a family whose priority is Frozen, we recommend a day at Disney Adventure World with a fairly short core plan: the cruise, an encounter if you get a time slot, a celebration, and a meal. Choose other experiences afterward according to your interests and what you find on the day. This approach leaves room for the village and breaks without imposing a rigid order that is impossible to maintain.

On arrival, the first practical step is to check the encounter and show times. You can then start with Frozen Ever After if its wait time works for your group. If an appointment is coming up, a walk through Arendelle lets you stay nearby. After the meal, alternate with an indoor show or another themed area to avoid spending the whole day standing in queues.

Raiponce Tangled Spin is on Adventure Way and recreates the lantern scene in spinning gondolas. Worlds of Pixar offers a chance to continue toward Ratatouille, Toy Story, or the World of Nemo area; Marvel Avengers Campus offers yet another atmosphere. Each attraction has its own height, health, and access requirements. A child allowed on Frozen Ever After will not automatically be eligible for everything shown on the map.

If the evening matters as much as the attractions, plan a proper break before Disney Cascade of Lights. A multi-day stay makes it easier to spread out activities, with the option of spending another day at Disneyland Park. For a single day, our recommendation is to choose a few priority experiences and let secondary detours depend on the group’s energy.

Paris, RER, and coach

From Paris, the RER A serves Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, close to the park entrances. Disneyland Paris indicates a journey of about forty minutes from Châtelet. Add the walk from your accommodation, time waiting for the train, the walk out of the station, and the site’s security checks. Check the train’s destination before boarding, then check for any service disruptions and the return timetable for your travel date.

Independent travel is especially suitable if you want to stay for the nighttime show or adjust the end of the day to suit the children. Plan your return before entering the park: the route to your hotel, the last useful departure, and an alternative if you decide to leave earlier. A power bank can be useful for both tickets and checking the schedule, which are often accessed on the same phone.

A coach excursion offers a group departure from Paris and combines transport with admission. The offer below lists a meeting point in front of the Pullman Bercy, 1 rue de Libourne, and asks guests to arrive fifteen minutes before departure. Disney tickets are distributed at the meeting point. Hotel pickup must be arranged separately.

To visit World of Frozen on this excursion, explicitly select the two-park option. The one-park option described in this listing is for Disneyland Park. The return from the park is scheduled for around 7 p.m.: compare this time with the nighttime show before planning your evening. The coach suits travelers who prefer a fixed transport schedule; independent return gives you more flexibility to stay late. The excursion’s total duration includes travel and does not measure the time spent in Arendelle.

The cost of your visit

The cost of your stay is determined first by the date and number of parks, then by the number of days. Compare baskets for the same travelers and the same option. The starting price of a range offering several tickets may refer to a different option from the one you need for Frozen. The booking summary must name the park or specify access to both parks.

Then add transport, meals, drinks, and souvenirs. If you are driving, include parking; for an excursion, check what is already covered by the package. Compare any hotel nights with the travel time they save each morning and evening, without assuming that nearby accommodation eliminates all walking.

Optional expenses include Disney Premier Access and photo products. Park admission does not include unlimited access to faster queues. Before adding this expense, consider which attractions actually interest your family and the terms of the service being offered. Setting aside some money for a need you identify on site may be more appropriate than buying every extra in advance.

Prices and ratings for bookable products are consolidated in the cards to avoid listing several conflicting amounts in the guide. Your dated basket is the authoritative source for payment. Cancellation terms are just as important when train travel, accommodation, and tickets are part of the same trip: compare their deadlines before confirming everything.

The first Christmas in Arendelle

World of Frozen’s first Christmas is confirmed from November 7, 2026, to January 6, 2027, as part of Disney Enchanted Christmas. This period covers the seasonal festivities; the land, which has been open since March, can also be visited outside the Christmas season. The announced decorations draw on Nordic inspiration, and a Christmas tree welcomes visitors at the village entrance.

The announced program includes The Arendelle carolers, an approximately fifteen-minute musical moment featuring a choir and Olaf, joined by Anna and Elsa. Ring in the season with Anna and Elsa offers another celebration on the bay, lasting around seven minutes, with the two sisters in their winter outfits. If visiting during this period, use the seasonal schedule in the app rather than automatically relying on the times for celebrations held during the rest of the year.

These activities are included with the ticket for the relevant park. Disneyland Park’s Christmas festivities, including its parade, take place in the other park: plan for a two-park ticket if you want to combine them with Arendelle on the same day. Choosing a second day can also help you spread out the events without adding more travel.

In Seine-et-Marne, outdoor waits and the waterfront call for suitable winter clothing: warm layers, rain protection, and breaks indoors as needed. Shows and the appearance of a particular character remain subject to operating conditions. Tell children about the announced events without promising an additional one-on-one meet-and-greet.

FAQ

Which ticket do you need for World of Frozen?

You need a ticket that provides access to Disney Adventure World on your chosen date. A one-day, one-park option may be suitable if it covers that park. A ticket limited to Disneyland Park gives access to the destination’s other park. To visit both, choose a two-park option. There is no separate admission surcharge for World of Frozen in the official terms consulted; some experiences or service options must be booked separately.

Do you need to reserve entry to the land?

No reservation specifically for World of Frozen is required beyond an admission ticket and the park’s booking requirements for the day. Entry may be regulated with a queue during periods of high demand. A Royal Encounter reservation provides access to a dedicated route into the land; Disney nevertheless asks guests to allow extra time for arrival, as access times may vary.

How tall do you have to be for Frozen Ever After?

Disney does not set a minimum height for Frozen Ever After. Children under seven must be accompanied by an adult. The ride includes very dark areas, flashing lights, and possible splashes; expectant mothers should not ride. These factors are just as important as height when deciding whether to go with a child or planning a visit for someone sensitive to visual effects.

How can you meet Anna and Elsa?

The dedicated meet-and-greet takes place at Arendelle Castle and is organized through a virtual queue in the Disneyland Paris app, subject to available time slots. Check the relevant section for the day’s requirements and your group’s details. Seeing the characters in a ride or show is a different experience and does not replace signing up for this photo opportunity.

How much time should you allow for World of Frozen?

Allow several hours if you plan to combine the boat ride, show, meal, and a look around the village. This is a planning recommendation: wait times and any meet-and-greet time slot determine how much time you will actually need. A full day at Disney Adventure World lets you spread out Frozen and other themed lands. For a stay that also includes Disneyland Park, two days offer more opportunities for breaks and spreading out your plans.

Is the visit wheelchair accessible?

The park and its experiences should be assessed separately. For Frozen Ever After, Disney states that transferring from the wheelchair is required and that a transfer board is available on request. The accessibility guide and cast members can explain arrangements suited to the visitor’s needs. The land’s priority access options do not remove the reservation requirement for Royal Encounter.

Does the ticket include faster queues?

The tickets featured in this guide cover admission according to their option, with transport included for the relevant excursion. Disney Premier Access is a separate paid option, subject to availability. Purchasing it lets you join the faster queue for the covered attraction but does not guarantee immediate boarding. Check the service details before adding it to the family budget.

Can you visit Frozen and return by coach?

Yes, with an excursion whose ticket covers Disney Adventure World. For the product featured here, this means choosing the two-park option. The return is scheduled for around 7 p.m., and you must follow the times on your voucher. If Disney Cascade of Lights is your priority, compare the showtime with the coach departure; choose independent transport when your evening requires greater flexibility.

When is World of Frozen’s first Christmas?

The confirmed period runs from November 7, 2026, to January 6, 2027. It includes seasonal decorations and announced musical events in Arendelle. Admission to the activities is included with a ticket for the relevant park, subject to the program and operating conditions. World of Frozen remains a permanent area of Disney Adventure World; these dates refer only to its first Christmas season.
